Hello, I would like to introduce myself. I am Brian Loney. I am a self taught artist, living in the beautiful Georgian Bay area. I have lived here basically all my life. I feel truly fortunate to live in such a beautiful area, absolutely rich in pristine rivers, lakes and forests. There is so much to do and see here, as an artist, the wealth of references and subject matter is endless. I am also a very short drive to Muskoka, another region absolutely rich and plentiful in amazing scenery. I spend most of my summer hiking, kayaking, and doing photography here. I use these trips as inspiration for my painting and photography. I love to use lots of color, to invoke the emotion of these surroundings into my art.
